If you wish to return an item due to an error on our part or you received something damaged, the ATA will cover all costs associated with returning the merchandise and sending a replacement. Please contact us first so we can agree on the nature of the error, and if it is necessary for the items in question to be returned.
The ATA is unable to accept returns or refund for CD Roms, DVDs, electronics kits, book sales, e-publications, items such as batteries or those returned more than 14 days after delivery.
Please note that normal wear and tear, misuse or neglect voids any warranties, expressed or implied.
If you are returning an item for any other reason you must contact the ATA first for approval. In this case, you are responsible for the return shipping charge.
It is always best to contact the ATA to discuss the specific fault even when outside the 14-day period.
How to make a return
To make a return, please contact us for a return authorisation (RA) number. Once you have received the RA number, print out our RA Form and send it to us with your goods (the address is provided on the form). We can email or fax this form if required. We request that you indicate the number of items you’re returning, the reason for the return and whether you would like a refund or replacement.
All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation, CDs and registration that is shipped with the product.
Please have the following information ready before calling us for an RA number. Most of this information will be on your packing slip or invoice:
- Name and contact details of original purchaser
- Invoice number or order number
- Part or item number of product(s) to be returned
- Date on packing slip or invoice
- Whether the product box has been opened
- Reason for return.
